Job Details
The role involves the diagnosis, management, and treatment of congenital and acquired heart conditions in infants, children, and adolescents. Expertise in paediatric echocardiography, outpatient and inpatient care, and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings is essential.
Requirements
- Subspecialty training in Paediatric and/or Fetal Cardiology is highly desirable.
- Strong expertise in echocardiography and non-invasive cardiac imaging.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Diagnose and manage congenital and acquired heart diseases in neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.
- Perform and interpret advanced paediatric echocardiography, including transthoracic, transoesophageal, and fetal echocardiography.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient care, including pre- and post-surgical cardiac management.
- Collaborate closely with paediatric cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and other specialists in multidisciplinary meetings.
- Support fetal cardiology services through prenatal diagnosis and counselling.
